On P.M. Jan.10, 2003, SIPPC began to subscribe inside and invite outside investment.

On Jan. 25th, 2002The first “Seminar on development of brand enterprises of packaging and printing in Zhejiang and Shanghai—special meeting on inviting outside investment for SIPPC the brand enterprise” was held in Shanghai. More than 60 packaging and printing enterprises from Zhejiang and Shanghai were attended the meeting.

On Feb. 27, 2003, Lu Chang’an the general manager of Beiren Group led the management layer to inspect SIPPC and he approved the project very much.
? The meeting for secretaries general of national packaging associations held a special introduction meeting for SIPPC at Mar.3th 2002. It was hosted by Qianjin, the secretary general of CPTA. The leaders attended the meeting are: Qiu Chunpu, the president of CPTA, Han Jiazen, first vice-president of CPTA, Zhuang Yingjie, secretary general of SPTA, Qian Chengxi, Chairman of SIPPC, and more than 70 person included in the presidents and secretaries general of the packaging association from different provinces and municipalities and representatives of mass media. The project brought a strong echo.

On Apr.6, 2002, Mr. Kawamura hirosi, president of Japan daily group Co. Ltd, and Dda taiti, president of daily group IB company visited SIPPC. Both of them expressed that they would use <<Packaging time>> etc, which some magazines belong to daily group, to publicize SIPPC around in Japan to attract the Japanese enterprises to station in SIPPC.

On May 23, 2002, the meeting for secretaries general of packaging association of Southern China was held in Jinan Eastern Building. Qian Chengxi chairman of SIPPC also attended the meeting. They discussed about the packaging associations of Southern China would ally SIPPC to create a brand exhibition. It was a good foundation for the operation of SIPPC’s exhibition center.

On July 9, 2002, Qianjin the secretary general of CPTA and Qian Chengxi the chairman of SIPPC met leaders of packaging and related industry association in Britain, Spain and Czech Republic in Shanghai New international exhibition Center. Both of them introduced SIPPC to the foreign guests, and they showed great interesting to it.

On July 9, 2002, the discussion on packaging development within Shanghai and Hongkong was held in Shanghai Jingchang Wenhua Hotel. Qian Chengxi and Cai Rongpan, chairman and chief inspector of sales of SIPPC were on invitation to attend the meeting, which evoked Hongkong representatives participating at the meeting to pay close attention to.

On July 10, 2002, packaging exchange reception of Japan trade promotion Society was held at Hotel Nikko Pudong Shanghai. There are over 70 general managers of enterprises and leaders in the industry presented the meeting. ZhuangYingjie,the Secretary general of SPTA made special topic lecture named “WTO & Shanghai packaging”, he particularly introduced SIPPC on his lecture. It was raised a warm inquiry by Japanese representatives to participate in the meeting, and they went to SIPPC Construction Site to inspect in next day.

On July 10, 2002, the seminar on Sino-Japan packaging development was held in Shanghai Science Venue. More than 20 enterprise representatives and leaders in the industry from China and Japan in the packaging circle were attended and Qian chengxi, chairman of SIPPC was on invitation to show up at the meeting. He introduced the project to colleagues around the packaging circle, and brought a great attention from the Sino-Japan representatives that participated in the meeting.

On July 16 to 27, 2003, Annual conference of national flexible packaging technological information center is held grandly in the hotel of Everbright City in the Fareast of Shanghai. SIPPC assisted successfully to call the conference. Zhang Yonghua and Zhuang Yingjie, the director of economical committee of Putuo district of Shanghai and secretary general of SPTA, as a special honored guest to present at the conference.

On Aug.2, 2002, Zhuang Yingjie and Qian Chengxi, secretary general of SPTA and chairman of SIPPC, to have a interview with Mr. Karbela, which was the president of Italian automatic packaging machinery manufacturer association.
? Kilo Co.Ltd. was a head enterprise of corrugated board equipment in Japan. Kiloac, the president of the company and the visiting group visited SIPPC at Aug.19, 2002.

On Aug. 28, 2002, Fei Xiaotong, the deputy chairman of national people’s Congress wrote an inscription for SIPPC.
? On Sep.17, 2002, Li Jianhang, vice-president of China packaging company and MaLi, assistant of president came to SIPPC to make an investigation on-the-spot.

On Oct.9, 2002, Yu Guosheng, deputy director of Shanghai economical commission and XiaYu, director of Shanghai comprehensive layout office, were accompanied by BaoJianqiang, vice head of Putuo District and ZhangYonghua, director of economical committee of Putuo District, inspected SIPPC,. Director Yu gave a full of approve and appreciation on scientifically layout and construction of SIPPC.

At afternoon of Oct. 23, 2003, Shanghai Packaging Technology Association held a symposium on establishment of “Shanghai international packaging college” in Shanghai Science Venue. More than 20 people presented in the meeting. Leaders of SPTA and Economic committee of Putuo District of Shanghai, the experts and professors from Fudan University, East China University of Science and technology, Shanghai University, Shanghai University of engineering and technology, China Art college etc., and the decision making department of SIPPC. A common idea was come out that it is urgent for China especially for Shanghai to establish a new package college that featured with internalization and industrialization. It’s suitable for SIPPC to joint production, learning and research on packaging and printing. The meeting was hosted by ZhuangYingjie and Zhang Yonghua, secretary general of SPTA and director of Economic committee of Putuo District of Shanghai.

On Nov.21, 2002, SIPPC and e-IPC data share network Co. Ltd signed a letter of intention on strategics cooperation. Both sides would cooperate to develop the information network and business center of SIPPC, and to build global information panel of sustainable development.

On Nov.22, 2002, about 20 people included in secretary general of CPTA and Qian Chengxi, related leaders of National Economic Commission and experts were inspected SIPPC. The leaders of inspection group and the experts identically approved of concept, plan and site-selection of the project SIPPC.

On Nov.25, 2002, China packaging Science research measurement Center and SIPPC officially signed intentions agreement. Both two sides would cooperate to increase the 11th functional center – packaging testing center in SIPPC. The new center would provide the packaging testing service for numerous enterprises which was accepted by 35 developed countries.

On Dec.18, 2002, Economic committee of Putuo District, which entrusted by the people’s government of Putuo District of Shanghai municipal People’s Government, and Shanghai Bank were signed a agreement on financial credit for “One district centering on one industry”. Shanghai bank and SIPPC also signed agreement on “Bank and enterprise alliance”, in order to support the construction & development of SIPPC and industry of packaging and printing.
