Silicon-valley of China’s packing and printing industry: SIPPC

SIPPC, a comprehensive industrial base with an integrative production and sales system, is under the general guidance of China’s Packing Technology Association, the highest-ranked organization under the direct leadership of China’s National Economic and Trade Committee, and also under the special instruction of Shanghai Packing Technology Association as well. The program is located in Putuo District, famous as “west gate in Shanghai”. It occurs an area of 600mu, with a construction area of 480,000 square meters, and will be completed in three stages. The first stage is to build frame-style modern exhibition zone and top-grade、spacious and bright business officers with an area of 83mu and a construction area of 77,014 square meters, thus making it the central business district in SIPPC and also the first industrial CBD in China. The second stage is to build modern、 standard and gardenesque workshops. Then the third stage is to build slap-up residence, which is listed as a key project by Shanghai Putuo District government, as well as a startup symbol of “one district for one industry” industrial planning project by Shanghai municipal government.

The project planning sticks to the belief of “sustainable development and brand management” and laid out ten functional centers after two years’ market investigation and designing. These functional centers are mechanism and equipment exhibition center、raw and auxiliary material exhibition center、education and training center、information and network center、electronic business center、conference exhibition center、packing logistic center、business offices、research and designing center as well as management and development center. The registered Shanghai International City for Packing and Printing Co. Ltd and its management committee will specialize in providing age-long management planning and building management. By shortening the production and sales process and maximizing the value creation service, SIPPC want to minimize cost、maximize revenue and brand value and truly realize economic scale, thus making itself an instant communication window and a trade panel where a great deal famous brands get together and communicate with each other after China’s WTO entry. SIPPC will be the aircraft carrier of China’s packing and printing industry, and also the Silicon-valley in the 21st century.
